Georgia Marshall Schrom, Minister of Music

Georgia on EasterGeorgia Marshall Schrom has served as the Minister of Music for more than 35 years.  Georgia serves as the church organist and accompanist and the director of the Senior, Alleluia (youth), Hosanna (young children) and hand bell choirs.  Georgia is a native of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor in Sacred Music (organ major and voice minor) from Westminster College.

Georgia  has previously served as Assistant Conductor and vocalist for Pennsylvania Pro Musica;  Director of Music at the Presbyterian Church of Dover, Assistant Conductor of the Delaware Choral Society, and soloist and harpsichordist with the Dover Early Music Consort.  Georgia continues to do freelance choral conducting and chamber and solo harpsichord performances.

Georgia is also a preschool music teacher and piano instructor.  She resides in Drexel Hill with her family — husband, Gerard, two children — Gregory and Gabrielle, and two sweet cats.
